NEWS: The building bugs have been squashed!Sep 19th 2015
We had some unexpected issues that cropped up with the patch last month that effectively made buildings non-functional. With the help of your bug reports and forum posts, we were finally able to track it down to wildly malfunctioning ancient UI coding. We sincerely apologize for having released such a broken patch.
Resolving the root cause of this resulted in a lot more "fun with coding" than we had initially anticipated, but with the power of energy drinks and diligent refactoring, we are glad to say that we've managed to get Gods and Idols in a spiffier, much more stable shape. Special thanks to players etgfrogs, Icefire2314, Shooer, and ukulele for their assistance in tracking down the root cause of the issues.
Buildings should now work as originally intended; please report any bugs you encounter with them. Additional lore descriptions will also be appearing later this week to provide flavor and clarity to their functions as well. You can now return to building grandiose statues of yourself and working your slave worshipers to death, the way that Vail would have wanted.
