I thought eating them with waffles and syrup was the standard. Was i doing it wrong all this time?

PaiPaihians are the base of many recipes. While you can cover them with ketchup, honey mustard, or syrup; you do not eat them with waffles, pancakes, or any other sauce/syrup holding base.
